About New England Benefits
New England Benefits was founded in 1997 to provide consulting services to businesses in the areas of employee benefits, human resource management, strategic planning, and financial services. As a licensed employee benefits broker, we help business clients set-up and manage employee benefit plans. We have also completed numerous employment-related project assignments such as: employee handbooks, employment compliance surveys, and wage classification analyses.
Robert A. Landry - Prior to forming New England Benefits, Bob acquired extensive management experience in both corporate and retail banking. He began his career as a Corporate Lending Officer at Shawmut Bank. During his graduate studies, Bob worked overseas as a consultant to NMB Postbank in The Netherlands. Beginning in 1991, Bob held a series of senior management positions that eventually led to his appointment as President of BayBanks Credit Corp. with responsibility for all of the bank's consumer lending activities including: auto loans, credit cards, student loans, home equity lines of credit and unsecured personal loans. In this capacity, Bob had direct responsibility for the 450 employees that provided sales, underwriting, operations, and collections support for these products.
Bob's broad management background has given him extensive experience in human resource matters including: recruitment, employee relations, employee benefits, regulatory compliance, and training.
Bob completed his undergraduate degree in Economics at The College of the Holy Cross and earned an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
